Ha'apai´s islands

There are 62 islands in Ha'apai and every one has its own charm. From fishing villages to deserted beaches, there are many options. We have listed the most popular ones here, but enquiries for other trips are welcome.

Uoleva
Miles of unspoilt, soft, white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise water make Uoleva perfect for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling (we have the gear if you need it). Three small resorts offer accomodation and meals. We can pick you up for diving and whale watching at no additional cost. Please book in advance.
If you wish to be dropped off on Lifuka after your activity, then our standard transfer rate applies.
Transfer (one way, min. 2 guests) $ 30 00000000one person $ 50

Luahoko
Luahoko is uninhabited and fringed by interesting coral reef. Its snow white beaches are perfect for relaxing and the warm clear water invites you for swimming and snorkeling. Snorkeling gear is included in the price. Join us on a trip and make this postcard island yours for a day.
Day trip (approx. 5 hours, min. 2 guests) $ 220pp

Uiha
Be one of the few visitors to be warmly welcomed on the island that is said to deliver the best fish in entire Ha'apai. Enjoy the beautiful beaches and the Tongan hospitality in the only two villages on Uiha. There is an ancient burial ground and a monument to visit. One guesthouse offers basic accommodation and meals.
Transfer (one way, min. 2 guests) $ 75pp

Ha'ano
The Tongan name for this island is Kauvai, Ha'ano actually being the main village of four. Ha'ano has two small shops, one automobile and several nice beaches that are yours to explore. There is one basic, but very clean church-run guesthouse.
Transfer (one way, min. 2 guests) $ 75pp

Nukupule
The lease for this six acres of private island paradise is currently for sale with a tidy little price tag of $250,000 USD. Interested parties wishing to visit the island for an inspection are welcome aboard for a day trip out there. This includes same day return transfers, snorkeling, two hours to explore the island itself, lunch on the beach and hot and cold refreshments during the day. The domain name www.nukupule.com is held by us and open to serious offers.

The active volcano of Tofua (the second biggest thrill in Ha'apai)
Apart from swimming with a Humpback whale, hiking into the massive caldera of Tofua island, peering into the bubbling vent of scorching magma and swimming in the creepy 'dead' lake of the active volcano is as extreme as it gets in sleepy little Ha'apai. This trip includes drop off and pick up on different days (3 days minimum suggested) and a local guide to navigate up, into and out of the volcano again during the expedition. Suggested itinerarys, what to bring and full expedition details are available upon request. A maximum of 8 people may make the trip at any one time. NB* This is a serious expedition and careful planning is required.
Tofua Expedition $ 7500
