Accommodation on Uoleva

There are three resorts on Uoleva´s picture postcard beaches. Since the resorts are difficult to contact, we can assist you with bookings and provide transfers for you. Dive and whale watching pick ups free of charge can also be arranged with us.

Taiana´s Resort has a relaxed atmosphere and authentic pacific feel with five simple, clean, double beachfront fales built in the traditional Tongan style. The walls are lined with hand-made tapa cloth and the beds have comfy matresses surrounded by intact mosquito nets. Each fale has a little private "veranda" with a table, chairs and a hammock. The communal washing facilities have running fresh water. There's no electricity on the island and evening light is subtle by kerosene lantern. Rates: Single T$28, double T$45 (T$35 from Nov-Apr or all year with our packages). Breakfast is T$7 and an ample dinner is only T$15. The kitchen may be used for self-catering for T$7/day and a traditional Tongan feast may be arranged upon request. The common dining area has a nice library growing.

In cooperation with Diana Resort, we offer activity and accommodation packages at rates which are simply unbeatable in the South Pacific.

Captain Cook´s Hideaway also has basic beach fales in a more "western" style. The shared facilities have cold water and there is no power in the fales, the dining area is outside. Rates: Single T$25, double T$50. Breakfast is T$6, dinner T$25.

The Serenity Beaches resort has twin coast views to accompany five modern open Thai style fales. The beds are protected by mosquito nets. This medium range resort is both friendly and comfortable with that little bit of extra luxury lining the edges. Superb snorkeling and excellent beach fronts compliment attentive hosts and great food. Tea and coffe are always available in the communal lounge area. Rates: 2 Doubles with shared facilities around T$160, 3 ensuites around T$200. Washing facilities have cold water and the rooms do not have electricity.

Fins 'n' Flukes offer free pick ups for divng and whale watching from all of the resorts on Uoleva We also provide daily transfers from Lifuka to Uoleva and vice versa. If you book your return transfer with us we offer you free snorkeling on an off shore reef on the way including all the equipment.
